Hajar Agricultural Development Cooperative Society in Al-Ahsa participates in an event at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals

Hajar Agricultural Development Cooperative Society in Al-Ahsa participated in the event organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, held over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 and 7, 2023, as part of the student activity initiative at the university. This participation aims to enhance environmental awareness and promote the culture of sustainable agriculture among university students and the academic community. The association presented an awareness exhibition on the importance of palm trees and their products in the Kingdom, along with a detailed explanation of modern agricultural techniques and their role in achieving food security. During the event, several educational brochures and souvenirs were distributed to visitors, in addition to showcasing the association's date products and their derivatives, which were well received. This participation comes as part of the association’s keenness to engage with the community and contribute to building effective partnerships with educational institutions to support and develop the agricultural sector.
